Contrary to what one might imagine, if Apple decided today to stop any service from Google, it would be in a position of loss of revenue equal to four times what it generated for the devices using its platform Android.

Thus, according 9t05mac.com, the features of the Android platform would have generated an average of $ 550 million during the period 2008 to 2011, while at the same time, Google’s services such as Apple for service maps, search engine or YouTube (by example) would have cost four times. This is also the principal policy of Google smartphones to designers. The Android platform is their free, but instead they are forced to use these Google services by buying the necessary packages. This should enable them to maximize Android.

This implies of course that if Apple decided today to stop using Google’s services, it would lose a lot. This is also a strategy initiated by Apple by buying the firm in particular C3 3D design technology last year. In consequence, it follows that maps services deployed in the iPhoto application are no longer of Google Maps, hence the lack of quality. Hopefully Google will cushion the blow in the worst case.

Here is a new tweak available, it should please all fans of customization or personalization of their iDevice as it adds a novelty really startling. DoubleDock the tweak will allow you to add a second line to your Dock on your Springboard, allowing you to double the number of shortcut icon and then on your Dock. The tweak DoubleDock was developed by Evan Lucas and is available on the CydiaStore.

DoubleDock the tweak will double your Dock, so you will able to add a second line. Number of your icon will be doubled. The tweak does not work with the tweak “InfiniDock” or “Five Dock iCon” but the developer informs us that it will come, so you can not put more than 8 icons on your Dock. DoubleDock has no control and adds no new icon to your SpringBoard. After installing the tweak will activate directly so you will have nothing to do but put your icons in your new dual dock.
